Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves completely about 3 minutes
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and let it cool. Store in an air tight jar or bottle.
Brew your Expresso or Coffee
Make four shots of espresso using an espresso machine, or brew strong coffee and let it cool. It's okay to use day-old coffee that has been kept in the fridge or cold brew coffee for this. Just make sure whatever you use is cold
Assemble the Latte
Add the espresso or cooled coffee to a large mason jar or another large container with a tight lid for shaking.
Pour the milk in and stir
Add the vanilla syrup to your taste liking, put it on the lid, and shake it to combine.
Pour into a tall glass over ice and enjoy. Top with whip cream for an extra decant treat.
Store in the fridge and replenish as needed.
Notes
You can make as much or as little as you like just keep the ratio of 1 cup of coffee to 1 cup of milk and sweeten with your vanilla syrup to your liking.The Vanilla syrup can also be added to a hot coffee to make a delicious latte.
