Prepare the Filling

Roll the Dough
- Lightly flour your work space
- Divide 1 ball of dough into 6 equal smaller balls- or the best size that fits your family needs.
- Roll each ball to about 6-7" in diameter. Be careful not to roll the dough too thin as it might tear.
Fill the Panzerotti
- Spread about 1-2 tablespoons of marinara sauce onto half of each dough circle, leaving a ½-inch border around the edge.
- Add 5-6 slices of pepperoni and a generous ¼ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. Or use whatever topping you choose. Be sure not to over-fill to prevent the top from ripping.
Prepare the Egg Wash
- In a small bowl, beat the egg and 1tbsp of water to create the egg wash.
- Brush the inside edge of each panzerotti on the opposite side as the toppings.
Seal the Panzerotti
- Fold the dough over the filling to form a semi-circle. Pinch the edges together tightly, then crimp them with a fork to seal completely.
- Repeat with the remaining dough circles and filling.
